Today I bid a fond farewell to One Beacon Street, the office building where I’ve worked for the past year. The 34th floor (the very top floor) has been a real treat. We’re moving to a new building a few blocks away, and I’ve spent the last many weeks going through piles of papers and stacks of files and cubicles full of broken computers to determine what to keep, what to shred, what to trash. In the meantime, I’ve contracted an annoying spring cold, complete with exhaustion, non-stop runny nose, disgusting cough, daggers in my throat, etc. So when I needed a little break from the moving madness today, I took respite at our building’s convenience shop. I was thrilled to find these soothing Ricola herb throat drops for just over a dollar. Just what I needed.
