Saturday morning nature walk for Tim and Soren.

Our first shorts day of the year was May 5. Finally, real spring!
It’s a miracle — I only took one video in May. Soren has memorized the names of the 15 leaders of our church, and we think it’s pretty impressive.

Tim’s parents came for a visit in early May, so we made our first trip of the year to Walden. Just as good as we remembered it.

Another spring favorite — the Public Garden. This is the first year Soren has been into “Make Way for Ducklings,” so the Public Garden is talked about often at our house.

And, of course, the swan boats.

Soren thought the Boston Common carousel was just about the greatest thing he’d ever seen.

And then, a tour of Taza. Taza = heaven.

Happy birthday and happy baby to me! Tim bought this ginormous pillow for my uncomfortable body, and it’s been dreamy.

We spent the afternoon around Copley Square on my birthday. Tim and Soren splashed in the fountains while I basked in the sunlight.

Some people were giving away balloons, so Soren nabbed a few.

A little BPL fun.

Just a regular day of construction work at home.

Saturday Costco runs often mean buying things we didn’t know we needed.

Project time! I made a bench.

We rode bikes one afternoon on the Minuteman Trail, ending up at Rancatore for ice cream. Had to stop and play this outdoor piano.

Paying a visit to the Kenrick House.

More Walden.

The first of many Artesani (pool, splash park, playground) visits for the summer.

Our driveway garden is thriving!
